An Arizona native, Keagen has been tattooing in the Phoenix area since 2007. At the age of sixteen, he began working for the Editor-in-Chief of Tattoo Video Magazine and became immersed in the world of professional tattooing.
Just a few years later, he had the privilege of apprenticing under some of the biggest names in the industry including Gill Montie, Tony Olivas, and Ed Madigan. Keagen learned the old-school way of tattooing—hand drawing and limited resources—and is thrilled that tablets and a wide array of modern supplies offer artists a multitude of ways to expand on the creative aspects of tattooing.
While Keagen is extremely well-versed in all styles of tattooing, his favorite style is surrealism in large black and grey and large color.
